Many Believed: Sharing the Hope of Christ 

"And many believed in Him there." – John 10:42

At Lockwood Baptist Church, we believe that the good news of Jesus Christ is as powerful today as it has ever been. Our desire is to see lives transformed by the love, grace, and saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As a church, we are experiencing a renewed passion for evangelism. We are stepping out in faith to share the gospel with our neighbours, serve our local community with compassion, and invite people of every nation, culture, and background to discover the hope that is found in Christ alone.

Our theme, "Many Believed," is inspired by John 10:42, where we read, "And many believed in Him there." This simple yet powerful statement reminds us that when Jesus is faithfully proclaimed, God continues to draw people to Himself.

Our prayer is that many in Lockwood, Huddersfield, and beyond will come to know Jesus personally. Whether through conversations, community outreach, acts of kindness, Bible studies, children's ministries, or Sunday worship, we want everything we do to point people to Christ.
